Arcadia Innovation Summit
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis Arcadia Unified School District has made the difficult decision to again postpone the 6th Annual Arcadia Innovation Summit. The Summit has become a valuable professional development and networking opportunity for educators throughout the state. We will evaluate what future summits are held in the upcoming year. We hope everyone is well, and please continue to connect and collaborate with us on Twitter @Aradiaunified, and by using the hashtag #ArcadiaInnovation.
Openness
We believe that the education ecosystem should evolve in an open and accessible way.
Lessons and content should be shared freely.
Silos should be minimized as we grow and explore together
Engagement
We believe in creating an environment that drives genuine engagement fostering:
Autonomy
Mastery
Purpose
(Based on Dan Pink’s book: Drive)
Innovation
We believe that we must continue to improve through innovation.
Finding new ways to improve teaching and learning
Exploring the benefits of blended learning environments
Fostering creativity with students and staff
Curating educational resources
